[Financial News] Paris Baguette is stepping up efforts to develop a global brand with its healthy bakery brand, ‘Paran Label,’ which offers differentiated flavors tailored to local demand and has halal certification.
According to industry sources on the 7th, Paris Baguette has launched its in-house healthy bakery brand, Paran Label, at all its Singapore outlets.
Paran Label is a healthy bakery brand that Paris Baguette introduced in South Korea in February last year.
Paris Baguette first launched Paran Label outside South Korea at its Singapore outlets in February. After using a pilot program to gauge local consumers’ preferences and the products’ competitiveness in the market, it recently expanded sales to all 28 of its outlets in Singapore.
Among Paran Label’s best-selling products are the Smoked Salmon Ricotta Sandwich, the Roasted Chicken Ricotta Sandwich, and multigrain rye bread. The multigrain rye bread in particular has received positive reviews for its nutty flavor and hearty texture, prompting repeat purchases.
This positive response reflects the brand’s success in meeting local consumers’ demand for products that support a healthy diet while prioritizing taste and convenience. Health features have been enhanced according to each product’s characteristics, including high fiber, low sugar, high protein, and probiotics.
Halal certification at every outlet has also strengthened the brand’s competitiveness. This year, Paris Baguette completed the halal certification process with the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) for all 28 of its outlets in Singapore.
A Paris Baguette representative said, “Paran Label, whose product competitiveness has been proven in South Korea, is also receiving a positive response from Singapore consumers and creating new demand in the local healthy bakery market.” The representative added, “We will work to expand sales to other markets where we operate, including the U.S., and develop Paran Label into a global healthy bakery brand.”
