[Financial News] NHN Data said on the 7th that it had further strengthened the stability of its customers’ operations by expanding account-protection features in its marketing solution, ‘SocialBiz (SocialBiz).’
SocialBiz is an automated Instagram Direct Message (DM) marketing solution developed by NHN Data in collaboration with Meta Platforms. It has recently been strengthening account-protection features in stages to address various situations that can arise in account operations, including controls on DM sending volumes, improvements to messaging policies, controls on automated comment replies, and checks on whether posts are restricted.
Recognizing that it is important for DM automation services to do more than simply support automated sending and to quickly analyze and respond to changes in Meta Platforms’ policies, the company has continuously monitored Meta Platforms’ operating policies and improved its service accordingly.
First, it introduced a feature for setting DM sending limits. This allows replies to comments and DMs to be sent in a staggered manner according to the set hourly sending volume, even when many users respond within a short time to an event or popular post on a customer’s account, helping ensure stable account operations.
To account for the possibility that messages may be restricted if the first DM contains promotional content, the company made sending a ‘default message’—which prompts users to first request the information they need—the standard for initial messages. It also enhanced its messaging policy by adding a ‘Insert username’ feature to default messages, enabling more personalized messages for each recipient.
It also updated SocialBiz to take automated preventive measures to protect accounts when post engagement surges and identical-pattern replies are posted in succession, which could be deemed unusual activity. SocialBiz can detect such situations in advance, temporarily suspend automated comment replies while scheduled DMs continue to be sent normally, and resume automated replies after a set period.
It also added a feature that lets users check on the SocialBiz admin page which Instagram posts or Reels have restricted content access, making it easier to identify the cause when replies and DMs suddenly stop being sent normally.
As Meta Platforms’ Instagram operating policies are expected to continue changing, SocialBiz plans to keep enhancing related features, making it a top priority to help customers operate their accounts stably over the long term.
