[Financial News] APR's beauty brand Medicube is opening a store in a Mexican department store and expanding its offline business in the country.
APR said on the 7th that Medicube would officially open at the Satélite branch of the premium department store Palacio de Hierro in Mexico City that day. Palacio de Hierro is a leading premium department store chain in Mexico, and this marks the first time a K-beauty brand has opened at one of its stores.
In the first half of this year, Medicube operated a standalone pop-up store at Oasis Shopping Center in Mexico's Coyoacán area, where it gauged the local response.
The store will sell key skincare products, including the Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN) Pink Peptide Ampoule, PDRN Gel Pads and Collagen Night Wrapping Mask, as well as beauty devices such as the AGE-R Booster Pro X2. The company plans to expand its product lineup based on local demand and sales trends.
APR continues to expand its offline distribution network in Mexico. After entering all Sephora and Costco stores in December last year, it expanded its sales channels to Sam's Club in the first half of this year and all Ulta Beauty stores in July.
It also plans to open at Palacio de Hierro's Coyoacán branch later this month.
An APR representative said, "We will diversify our distribution network by entering premium department stores in Mexico and expand our sales locations to meet local demand."
