[Financial News] Seoul National University Technology Holdings has invested in Mbricks, a developer of next-generation in vivo cancer treatment technology that produces therapeutic agents directly inside patients’ bodies.
On the 7th, Cha In-hwan, CEO of Seoul National University Technology Holdings, described Mbricks as “a company that has secured both differentiated LNP-targeted delivery technology and production efficiency in the in vivo CAR-T field, which global pharmaceutical giants are focusing on.” He expressed hope that it would be able to maximize its platform’s competitiveness and expand into a range of disease areas rather than being limited to a single new drug.
Mbricks is a biotech company that brings together professors from Seoul National University and Sungkyunkwan University, research and production experts from global pharmaceutical companies, and executives with experience in startups and finance.
Mbricks CEO Jeong Sang-won added, “With this investment, we will work to advance our pipeline and focus on preparations for full-scale clinical trials. Building on our proven technology, we will move more quickly to pursue out-licensing deals with global pharmaceutical companies and advance into clinical trials.”
