K-water and KAMCO join hands to strengthen audit capabilities and internal controls

[Financial News] Korea Water Resources Corporation (K-water) and Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) will work together to share AI and digital audit techniques and strengthen internal controls.
K-water said on the 6th that the two organizations had signed an agreement that day at the corporation’s headquarters in Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, to strengthen audit capabilities and internal controls. Hong Jeong-min, K-water’s standing audit committee member, and Park Seong-hyeon, KAMCO’s standing auditor, among other officials, attended the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will share audit cases and techniques that use AI and digital technologies. They also plan to pursue mutual cooperation in asset-management-related audits, internal controls, and proactive administration.
Hong, the standing audit committee member, said, "This agreement is a good opportunity for the two organizations to share the expertise and experience they have accumulated, strengthen their audit capabilities, and raise the level of internal controls." He added, "We will continue to expand cooperation with public institutions in various fields to strengthen our audit capabilities."
