[Financial News] As the fall/winter (F/W) fashion season reaches its peak, the home-shopping industry is expanding its brand offerings to target the increasingly varied tastes of female customers in their 40s to 60s. In line with this trend, KT alpha Shopping is set to introduce the licensed brands (LBs) “De kim by kimseoryong” and “Rodier” one after another.
According to industry sources on the 6th, KT alpha Shopping will launch the French knitwear brand “Rodier” on the 7th, followed by “De kim by kimseoryong,” a womenswear brand using a license from designer Kim Seo-ryong, on the 15th.
Rodier will introduce knitwear-focused products targeting Poetcore, considered one of this F/W season’s trends. Its first broadcast will feature a color-blocked knit coat and corduroy pants.
De kim by kimseoryong is a brand exclusively developed and marketed by KT alpha Shopping. It applies designer Kim Seo-ryong’s design sensibility to everyday clothing, offering contemporary daily looks for women in their 40s to 60s. Its first products are set to include a floral-patterned cardigan-and-scarf set and corduroy pants.
KT alpha Shopping previously also launched new F/W products from its private brand (PB), “Reutua.” The company plans to broaden fashion choices for women in their 40s to 60s by expanding both its private brands and licensed brands.
Baek Seon-ju, head of KT alpha’s T-commerce business division, said, “This fall and winter, we aim to meet customers’ diverse fashion tastes through brands with distinct identities and design strengths. With ‘De kim by kimseoryong,’ which brings a designer’s sensibility into everyday life, and ‘Rodier,’ with its French sensibility, we will offer women in their 40s to 60s distinctive styles and new fashion choices.”
