[Financial News] A Thai worker in his 60s was found dead at lodging on a pig farm in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, prompting a police investigation.
Police and fire authorities said on the 6th that a farm employee found a Thai man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, collapsed at lodging on a pig farm in Gwangjeok-myeon, Yangju, at around 8:50 a.m. the previous day and reported it.
Mr. A had already died by the time police arrived at the scene, according to reports.
No signs of foul play have been found so far.
Police are considering the possibility that Mr. A died from an underlying condition or illness, given that he had been in poor health in the past.
It was determined that Mr. A's period of stay had expired.
Police plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the exact cause of death.
