The North Face Athlete Team Wins Five Sport Climbing Medals at Asian Games

[Financial News] Athletes from Youngone Outdoor's The North Face Athlete Team won five medals in sport climbing at the 20th Asian Games.
Youngone Outdoor said on the 6th that Seo Chae-hyun, Lee Dohyun and Jeong Ji-min of The North Face Athlete Team won one gold, one silver and three bronze medals at the competition.
All five medals won by South Korea's national sport climbing team at the competition came from members of The North Face Athlete Team.
Seo Chae-hyun won a bronze medal in the women's bouldering event before taking gold in the women's lead final as the only athlete to complete the route. She became the first South Korean woman to win a gold medal in sport climbing at the Asian Games.
Lee Dohyun won silver in men's bouldering and bronze in men's lead. Jeong Ji-min won bronze in women's speed after breaking her personal best three times.
The North Face Athlete Team has won medals in three consecutive editions of the Asian Games, beginning with the Jakarta-Palembang Games, where sport climbing was adopted as an official event.
Youngone Outdoor has officially sponsored South Korea's national sport climbing team since 2010. The team won three medals at the Jakarta-Palembang Games and four at the Hangzhou Games, followed by a record five medals at this year's competition.
Seong Ga-eun, CEO of Youngone Outdoor, said, "The athletes delivered their best performances and achieved the most medals in the team's history." She added, "We will support South Korea's national sport climbing team so it can strengthen its competitiveness on the international stage and continue achieving strong results."
