SK hynix Raises Q4 Construction Transaction Amount with SK ecoplant to KRW 4.2 Trillion [Disclosure]

[Financial News] SK hynix disclosed on the 6th that it will increase its estimated construction transaction amount with SK ecoplant in the fourth quarter of this year to KRW 4.2462 trillion.
This is KRW 1.6176 trillion (61.5%) more than the estimated transaction amount of KRW 2.6286 trillion disclosed last February. The revised transaction amount represents 4.89% of SK hynix's standalone revenue last year.
Of the total transaction amount, KRW 4.0049 trillion will be spent on constructing new semiconductor factories. The project will be carried out under a negotiated contract. SK hynix plans to pay KRW 241.3 billion for the construction of support and production ancillary facilities through competitive bidding.
SK hynix explained that the estimated transaction amount increased due to changes in its new and existing businesses. The increase was also affected by higher advance payments recorded as the company switched construction payments from promissory notes to cash to promote mutual growth with its partners.
