The federation said on the 6th that the 2026 Jeju Ready-Mixed Concrete Management Innovation Forum is underway at Maison Glad Jeju for two nights and three days, beginning on the 5th, with around 300 attendees, including representatives of member cooperatives nationwide and member companies.
On the 5th, experts gave lectures on public procurement policy, key issues facing the ready-mixed concrete industry, the construction outlook, and how the industry should respond.
The Korea Concrete Testing Institute examined the state of the cement and ready-mixed concrete industries overseas, based on research conducted through industrial exchanges with Japan and China, as well as trends in low-carbon cement in Korea. On the 6th, future management strategies were discussed on various topics, including how small and midsize ready-mixed concrete companies should respond in the age of artificial intelligence (AI) transformation.
Federation Chairman Bae Jo-ung said, "I hope this forum will serve as a starting point for us to respond together to the changes facing the industry, including the public market, carbon neutrality, and AI, and move toward solid growth."
