[Financial News] The Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety has decided to strengthen its cooperation with local governments and construction companies to prevent accidents at construction sites in the capital area.
The Korea Authority of Land & Infrastructure Safety announced on the 6th that it had held the 'Construction Site Safety Capital Area All-in-One 365' construction safety council on the 2nd, with officials from local governments and construction companies in attendance. The council was organized to prevent accidents at construction sites in the capital area and strengthen safety management capabilities.
The council shared analyses of recent construction accident types and measures to prevent their recurrence. Key agenda items also included support for smart safety equipment through the operation of All-in-One 365, exemplary use cases, and safety consulting tailored to small-scale construction sites.
Participants agreed to establish a safety management system based on public-private cooperation by continuously gathering concerns from field personnel and identifying tasks for improving regulations so that smart safety technologies can become established at construction sites.
Jang Gi-su, head of the Capital Area Regional Headquarters, said, "We will continue to invigorate the council and do our utmost to create a safe working environment free of construction accidents."
