Korea Finance for Construction (K-FINCO) Names Former MOLIT Office Head Kim Su-sang as Executive Vice President

[Financial News] K-FINCO, the Specialty Contractors Guarantee Cooperative, has appointed Kim Su-sang, former head of the Housing and Land Office at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), as its new executive vice president. His two-year term runs from October 6, 2026, to October 5, 2028.
According to K-FINCO on the 6th, the cooperative held its 284th Operating Committee meeting on the 2nd and approved Kim's appointment as executive vice president.
After passing the 37th Higher Civil Service Examination, Kim served as MOLIT's Land Policy Officer, head of the Housing and Land Office, and head of the Transport and Logistics Office. He also served as a standing member of the Metropolitan Area Transport Commission.
Kim said, "I am honored to have been appointed executive vice president of the cooperative, while also feeling a profound sense of responsibility." He added, "Based on the public service experience and expertise I have built over the years, I will do my utmost for the development of the specialty construction industry and the cooperative."
