Paradise City, a resort complex on Yeongjong Island in Incheon, is expanding its standing as a major concert venue by hosting a series of performances by prominent Korean and international musicians, along with music festivals.
Paradise Group said on the 6th that a series of major music events had been held at Paradise City, beginning with the Asian Pop Festival in May, followed by ONE UNIVERSE FESTIVAL in July, Sound Planet Festival in September, and the Korea-Japan music festival XMF 2026 on the 3rd and 4th of this month.
Kim Chang-wan, Japan's Taeko Onuki and Quruli, among others, performed at the Asian Pop Festival. My Bloody Valentine, The xx, Turnstile and Pendulum were among the acts at ONE UNIVERSE FESTIVAL. The Sound Planet Festival featured 73 acts, including YB (formerly Yoon Do-hyun Band), Kim Junsu, Jang Beom-june, Cherry Filter, Guckkasten and Japan's Uverworld.
The recently held XMF 2026 also drew 22 acts from Korea and Japan, including Japan's One Ok Rock and Ado and Korea's DAY6. Before that, Deep Purple held a solo concert in Korea at Paradise City's Culture Park in April.
Paradise City explained that it is expanding concertgoing into stay-based experiences that combine accommodation, dining and relaxation, leveraging the resort complex's features, including its outdoor venue, Culture Park, as well as hotels, indoor performance venues, clubs and food and beverage (F&B) facilities.
In particular, the Incheon Tourism Organization said music festivals are also contributing to the revitalization of local tourism, estimating the Sound Planet Festival's economic impact over the next three years at about 81 billion won.

A Paradise Group official said, "We will continue to strengthen our position as a mecca for live performances that attracts world-class artists and music fans from Korea and abroad, while contributing to the revitalization of local tourism and the expansion of access to culture and the arts through non-gaming content."
