Daewoo Engineering & Construction Wins Awards in Three Categories for 'Singapore Urban Rail Project'

[Financial News] A Singapore project site being built by a Korean construction company has won an award from the local government.
According to industry sources on the 6th, Daewoo Engineering & Construction's Singapore urban rail CR108 project won awards in three safety categories at the 2026 Safety, Health and Environment Awards Convention (ASAC), organized by the Singapore Land Transport Authority. ASAC is Singapore's leading awards program in the fields of safety, health and the environment, and has been held by the Land Transport Authority since 1999.
The CR108 project is a major urban rail project to design and build Pasir Ris Interchange Station and a connecting tunnel in eastern Singapore. Daewoo Engineering & Construction and Dong-Ah Geological Engineering are jointly carrying out the project, which is scheduled for completion in December 2030. The site has also recorded 2,000 accident-free days and 8 million accident-free hours since construction began in 2021.
