[Financial News] As consumer prices continue to rise, demand is growing for products that ease the financial burden of everyday essentials such as underwear. Lotte Mart has introduced flat-price underwear to meet this trend.
According to industry sources on the 6th, Lotte Mart has been selling seven types of flat-price underwear at all of its stores since the 1st. The lineup focuses on frequently replaced everyday items, including women's seamless bras, men's boxer briefs, women's panties, men's trunks and tank tops.
The products are offered at a fixed price per item, without additional gifts or credit card discounts. The women's seamless bra, one of the flagship products, is priced about 50% lower than existing branded products and comes in two styles: shoulder-strap and thin-strap.
Lotte Mart is also expanding its clothing lineup under its private brand (PB), 'Oneuljoeun.' The company currently offers turtlenecks, men's and women's thermal underwear sets, short-sleeved undershirts and bra camisoles.
Lee Jeong-su, a product planner on Lotte Mart & Super's Underwear, Miscellaneous Goods and Sports Team, said, "We will continue to introduce products that offer reasonable prices and practicality to reduce customers' financial burden in real terms."
