According to industry sources on the 6th, Kim Seol-hun, a former elementary school teacher who currently works as a math instructor in Daechi-dong and heads the Daechi Seolti Mathematics Research Institute, will participate as a speaker. The 90-minute lecture will be broadcast live online under the theme "What Children Who Are Good at Math Have in Common." It will provide information on study methods, including the calculation skills needed at each elementary school grade level and the importance of literacy in math learning.
In particular, the session will share math study know-how centered on the following questions: △Why are the basics important in elementary math? △How long should children continue practicing calculations? △Why is reading ability important in math? After the lecture, a live question-and-answer session will allow the speaker and parents to exchange questions and answers.
A Kumon official said, "We have been inviting experts to hold online talk concerts to provide useful information to parents and students. We will continue to provide educational information and study know-how that can offer practical help with children's learning."
