According to financial industry sources on the 6th, HF and KDB will share their respective audit-related expertise and experience. Through this cooperation, they aim to improve audit outcomes and effectively advance internal control and anti-corruption policies.
Under the agreement, the two institutions plan to share audit techniques and conduct cross-audits in specialized areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and overseas offices; provide mutual support and exchange information to enhance their internal control systems; share best practices in anti-corruption and integrity policies; and exchange professional personnel to strengthen audit expertise.
Lim, Soo Kang, a standing auditor at HF, said, "I hope this agreement will serve as a meaningful opportunity for practical cooperation to spread an anti-corruption and integrity culture and enhance internal controls, going beyond the exchange of audit techniques." Lim added, "Based on this, we will continue working to become a public institution that earns even greater trust from the public."
