[Financial News] Baedal Minjok is expanding Baemin Academy, a free training program for restaurant and food-service business owners, to the Jeonbuk region. The company plans to help strengthen the self-reliance of local food-service businesses through industry-government-academia cooperation.
According to industry sources on the 6th, Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, has begun recruiting participants for 'Visiting Baemin Academy: Jeonbuk State Edition,' a program conducted in cooperation with the Jeonbuk Economic and Trade Promotion Agency and Jeonju University.
The training covers the full range of restaurant operations, including local commercial district analysis, trends, marketing and food tech. Topics include trends and operating strategies in local food-service districts, locally tailored branding and marketing, smart kitchens that use food tech to reduce labor costs, and profit-and-loss analysis and efficient store management. The program combines region-specific instruction with practical guidance for systematic business operations.
Joo Si-tae, director of the Marketing Division at NICEZINIDATA, will analyze the latest trends in Jeonbuk's food-service districts and introduce examples of services that have enhanced competitiveness. Koo Yang-il, CEO of Growth Company, will share insights into locally tailored marketing, store promotion strategies and practical know-how. Jeonju University professors Jeon Hyo-jin and Lee Dae-hee will also lead lectures on store operating strategies using food tech, as well as profit-and-loss analysis and food ingredient cost calculations, which are essential to running a food-service business.
The program is open to restaurant and food-service business owners in Jeonbuk who are interested in AI-based food tech and food-service trends. Applications are free and there are no eligibility requirements.
Baemin Academy operates Visiting Baemin Academy to expand food-service training opportunities beyond the Seoul metropolitan area and provide practical education tailored to local conditions. The program has previously been held in Incheon and Busan, and is scheduled to expand to other regions later this year.
