[Financial News] The stories in a picture book unfolded as an immersive experience through integration with a smartphone app. The initiative aims to present cultural content that fosters communication across generations by combining reading with digital technology.
Daekyo said on the 6th that it had unveiled an experiential pop-up booth for 'Child of the Stars' at Yonsei Arts Week at Yonsei University Mirae Campus on the 5th. The booth was linked to 'Space Passport,' an interactive app created by Yonsei University students. Visitors responded positively to curated selections from seven representative books, organized by situation, as well as exclusive merchandise such as postcards and magnetic book clips.
The event was organized to mark Daekyo's 50th anniversary, expand its existing educational content into the cultural and arts sectors, and offer citizens a new reading experience.
A Daekyo official said, "It was meaningful to connect the value of education and content with culture and the arts and meet customers in a new way as we mark our 50th anniversary." The official added, "We will continue to present programs that enable people of different generations to connect through books and stories."
Meanwhile, Yonsei Arts Week, which hosted the pop-up booth, was a festival open to the public held from September 28 through the 5th of this month to share the university's cultural resources with the local community.
