[Financial News] LS Securities forecast that Amorepacific will continue to post solid growth both domestically and overseas. It therefore maintained its "Buy" rating and target price of 190,000 won.
Oh Rin-a, an analyst at LS Securities, said on the 6th, "Amorepacific's consolidated revenue for the third quarter is expected to reach 1.1413 trillion won, while operating profit is projected at 111 billion won. This represents year-over-year increases of 12.2% and 20.8%, respectively, in line with the market forecast, or consensus."
In South Korea, solid performance and continued growth at COSRX are expected despite the lack of major cosmetics-related events in the third quarter. Multibrand shops (MBS) and duty-free channels continue to perform well on the influx of tourists. E-commerce is also expected to maintain growth of around 10%, supporting broad-based revenue expansion across major domestic channels.
The overseas business outlook is also positive. Oh said, "Revenue in North America is expected to increase by around 23%, driven by growth in COSRX, AESTURA and Innisfree. In Japan, revenue is projected to rise by more than 20%, supported by balanced growth across major brands such as AESTURA, Laneige and HERA."
Oh added, "Amorepacific is concentrating its investments on hair-care brands and social and e-commerce channels, making the resulting diversification of its growth base positive. In particular, the contribution of new brands to sales is expanding in North America. This is expected to complement the company's future growth structure and enhance the sustainability of its overseas business growth."
