Samsung Electronics to Launch Galaxy Tab S12 and SmartTag3 in South Korea on the 7th

[Financial News] Samsung Electronics is bringing a thinner large-screen tablet and SmartTag, a location-tracking device that helps users find their belongings, to the South Korean market. 
Samsung Electronics announced that it will launch the Galaxy Tab S12 series, featuring a slim design and a large display, and the Galaxy SmartTag3, which helps users locate their belongings, in the South Korean market starting on the 7th.
The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra features a 14.6-inch display and is 5.1 millimeters thick. It can play videos for up to 23 hours on a single charge. The Galaxy Tab S12+ is 5.3 millimeters thick and weighs 553 grams, making it thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Its video playback time is up to 21 hours.
Both products feature Galaxy AI functions optimized for large screens and multitasking, including Now Nudge. They come with an S Pen for writing and drawing, as well as Adobe Photoshop, the first such software to be installed on an Android tablet.
Depending on the detailed specifications, including memory and storage capacity, the Ultra is priced at 1,899,700 to 3,018,400 won, while the Plus costs between 1,549,900 and 2,069,100 won.
Until the 31st of this month, Samsung Electronics will offer customers 16 content benefits, including a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro and a three-month subscription to online video services (OTT). It will also provide a screen protector and discounts on keyboard and cover accessories. Customers who sign up for a four-year Samsung AI Subscription plan will receive membership points equivalent to six months of subscription fees.
The Galaxy SmartTag3, which is also being launched, is a device that can be attached to keys, bags, pets, and other items to track their locations. It is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, and its battery can last up to 790 days.
It supports Compass View, which provides directions and distance guidance for items within a range of up to 60 meters, and Find Nearby, which helps users locate items in their vicinity. The device is compatible with iOS devices as well as Galaxy devices.
It comes in two colors, white and black. The device is priced at 44,000 won, while a four-pack containing two of each color is sold for 149,600 won. Samsung Electronics will also introduce dedicated accessories, including silicone and loop cases, pet name tag cases that attach to collars and harnesses, and bicycle cases.
Until the 31st of this month, Samsung Electronics will offer customers who purchase the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy S26 series, or Galaxy S26 FE a 30% discount on SmartTag3 and case packages.
