[Financial News] Broadcaster Noh Hong-chul has belatedly opened up about how he felt at the time, after leaving shows including "Infinite Challenge" following a drunk-driving incident in 2014.

On the 2nd, Noh Hong-chul uploaded a video titled "Are You Seeing Someone? Noh Hong-chul Answers Honestly" to his YouTube channel and spent time answering subscribers' questions.
While discussing how people around him view him as someone who lives freely, doing what he wants without worries, Noh Hong-chul brought up the 2014 drunk-driving incident.
Recalling how all his activities came to a halt at the time, Noh said, "When I made a serious mistake 11 or 12 years ago, everything I was doing came to a stop, and I was extremely anxious about what the very next day would bring."
Noh Hong-chul was caught in a drunk-driving crackdown in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, in November 2014. He subsequently left MBC's "Infinite Challenge" and "I Live Alone," on which he had been a regular cast member, bringing his television activities to a halt.
After his television activities were suspended, Noh Hong-chul headed to a pilgrimage route in Spain. He said, "Once I suddenly had free time again, I enjoyed the sense of leisure. I think good times and bad times always coexist in life." He continued, "I had all kinds of worries on that pilgrimage route, but in the end, the concerns I wrestled with then are all connected to the things I am doing now."
After returning to television, Noh Hong-chul broadened his activities to include travel, cycling, and business. He continues to work in television and on YouTube.
