[Financial News] Promising PropTech startup Naepyeon said on the 6th that it is working with KREB to help employees of small and medium-sized enterprises safely purchase homes.
As part of the partnership, Naepyeon will provide SME employees with the Real Estate Naepyeon Safe Homeownership Service (Real Estate Planner Service). The service will systematically support the entire home-buying process, from financial assessments and comparative property analysis to contract-risk assessments. Applications can be submitted through the Real Estate Naepyeon website and KakaoTalk channel, and the program may close early depending on the number of applications.
Naepyeon is also expanding public-private cooperation models for safer housing transactions. The company is a member of KREB's private-sector consultative body and a tenant company at PropTech Village, located in the building of KREB's Seoul Gangnam Branch.
Amid growing concerns in the real estate market over jeonse fraud, underwater jeonse leases, and title-related defects, actual homebuyers are facing increased uncertainty. In particular, buyers preparing to purchase their first homes face structural limitations because they must make decisions on property selection, financial planning, and contract reviews on their own. As a result, more people are seeking safe transactions supported by professional advice and objective information throughout the process, from property searches to contract signing.
To address these concerns, Naepyeon operates the Real Estate Naepyeon service. A real estate planner supports the entire process—from financial assessments and comparative property analysis to contract-risk assessments—as a single, integrated service. The company uses its proprietary patented technology to check title issues and deposit risks in advance. The service covers both property purchases and jeonse and monthly-rental transactions.
Naepyeon is expanding its business by successively launching B2B corporate housing welfare and B2G public-institution relocation support services. The model addresses housing issues arising from employee relocations, personnel reassignments, and institutional moves at the company or institutional level. The partnership with KREB is an extension of this broader trend toward public-private and corporate cooperation.
A Naepyeon official said, "As a member company of KREB's private-sector consultative body, this is an example of the public and private sectors working together to support housing security for SME employees," adding, "We will focus our service capabilities so that employees of small and medium-sized enterprises can receive more systematic support from property searches through contract signing and safely prepare to buy their own homes."
Naepyeon is a PropTech solutions company based in Busan that was established in September last year. After receiving the Korea Research Institute for Human Settlements President's Award at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's (MOLIT) Real Estate Services Industry Startup Competition, the company also received the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) President's Award at this year's Korea Urban and Regional Innovation Expo's Urban and Regional Innovation Awards, ranked 16th nationwide in Challenge K-Startup, and was selected for the Busan Early-Stage Startup Package (Bunicon Build).
