Hana Financial Group Opens a New 100 Years in Cheongna, Incheon... "A Great Transformation Begins with Challenge and Innovation"

[Financial News] Hana Financial Group declared its ambition to embark on a new 100 years alongside Incheon, a global city, as it marked the beginning of its Cheongna era. 
According to financial industry sources on the 4th, Ham Young-joo, chairman of Hana Financial Group, said at the opening event held at the Cheongna Headquarters on the 2nd, "The opening of the Cheongna Headquarters is the culmination of the long journey to build Hana Financial Town and the starting point of a sweeping transformation that will bring the capabilities of all group companies and employees together in one direction." He added, "Through bold challenges and ceaseless innovation, we will powerfully open a new 100 years for Hana Financial Group."
In a congratulatory address, Park Chan-dae, mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, said, "It is deeply moving to see 15 years of efforts to attract investment come to fruition with the completion of Hana Financial Town. Even as the financial environment and economic conditions changed several times, Hana Financial Group kept its promise and gradually put down roots in Cheongna. Hana Financial Group is now an Incheon company." He added, "I hope Incheon Metropolitan City and Hana Financial Group will become one and build a new 100-year partnership."
Ham also emphasized the group's partnership with Incheon. "We will open a new path for finance based on Incheon's strength as a global city and Hana Financial Group's accumulated financial expertise," he said. "We will closely connect finance with Incheon's policies for people's livelihoods, future industries and investment, and work together as a regional financial partner supporting the growth of the local economy." 
Before the main event, the key participants held a "key ceremony" at Global Field in front of the Cheongna Headquarters, officially declaring the start of Hana Financial Group's Cheongna era. The ceremony marked the completion of Hana Financial Town's 15-year journey and symbolized the opening of the door to a new 100 years for Hana Financial Group in Cheongna.
The main event then introduced changes centered on the Cheongna Headquarters, including △work methods, △organizational culture and △workspaces, while presenting Hana Financial Group's vision of the future shaped through communication and collaboration.
The Cheongna Headquarters, which will serve as the group's new center, was built with seven basement levels and 15 above-ground floors, covering a total floor area of 128,503 square meters (38,872 pyeong). Since September this year, approximately 2,200 employees from Hana Financial Group and 10 major affiliates have been relocating there in stages. Including employees from the existing integrated data center, approximately 4,000 finance and information technology (IT) workers will be based there.
