[Financial News] Comedian Kim Soo-yong, who revealed that the value of his stock sales over six years had approached 23.9 billion won, has taken on a dog-walking job that pays 13,000 won an hour.
On the 1st, Kim Soo-yong uploaded a video to his YouTube channel "Yukgam Kim Soo-yong" titled "Dog-Walking Job: Round Two. This Time It's Different."
In the video, Kim Soo-yong began working as a dog walker for 13,000 won an hour.
Kim Soo-yong, who said he does not usually exercise much, went for a walk with his dog, Idanpung, saying, "When I'm with a dog, I feel like exercising too."
As this was his second dog-walking job, he also used tips he had learned from his previous experience. Kim Soo-yong explained that when a dog gets too far ahead, gently tapping the leash with your hand can help.
When Kim Soo-yong took a break on a bench during the walk, passersby recognized him. They approached him and said, "You're the dark-circle guy" and "You're Ji Suk-jin's friend."
Kim Soo-yong laughed it off, saying, "I'm the nameless guy with dark circles under his eyes."
He then said, "The dog gets called, 'Oh, Danpung,' but what about me? Oh, I'm the dark-circle guy," adding, "I think I should wear a name tag."
After completing the one-hour walk, Kim Soo-yong received 13,000 won for the job.
However, he spent more money before and after the job than he earned. He spent a total of 22,000 won, including 8,000 won on soft tofu stew, 6,500 won on lemonade and 7,500 won on cake. As a result, he spent 9,000 won more than he made that day.
Previously, Kim Soo-yong disclosed his stock-trading records for the six-year period from July 2020 to July 2026 on "Ant Kim Won-hoon: The World of Stocks." His purchases at the time exceeded 21.1 billion won, while his sales approached 23.9 billion won.
