Going beyond one-time donations of goods, KB Financial Group is continuing a range of social contribution initiatives in areas including financial access, health care, nutrition and emotional support. These efforts aim to address the inconveniences and difficulties older adults face in their daily lives and help them experience tangible improvements.
This year, the group is implementing a pedal misapplication prevention device support program to protect older drivers' mobility while reducing the risk of traffic accidents in advance. The device suppresses sudden acceleration when abnormal operation occurs, such as when a driver abruptly presses the accelerator, thereby reducing the risk of accidents.
In addition, KB Kookmin Bank operates the mobile branch KB Senior Lounge and the senior-focused branch KB Senior Happiness Lounge. These facilities make it easier for senior customers to access frequently used banking services, including deposits and withdrawals, passbook reissuance and pension payments.
Since 2023, KB Securities has been conducting the Haengbok Ttukttak Medical Volunteer Service with Open Doctors Society, a professional medical volunteer organization. The program provides comprehensive medical services in areas such as internal medicine, orthopedics and ophthalmology, along with medication.
