[Financial News] Saenal-ae, a subsidiary-type standard workplace for people with disabilities, has joined forces with Gyeongnam Bridge and WESTO to create jobs for people with disabilities and strengthen cooperation in the content sector, drawing attention.
The organizations announced on the 2nd that they had signed a memorandum of understanding covering these initiatives at The Reason Valley Knowledge Industry Center on the 1st.
The agreement was pursued to expand practical job and business opportunities by combining WESTO's animation and video production capabilities with Saenal-ae and Gyeongnam Bridge's regional employment networks for people with disabilities.
The three organizations plan to develop various creative participation models, including closer collaboration with artists with disabilities and training professional content creators.
Saenal-ae, a subsidiary-type standard workplace for people with disabilities established by the Dong-Eui Academy, continues to identify jobs where people with disabilities can apply their expertise. Its work spans video and animation planning, ICT content, AI dashboard production, data labeling, design and social media marketing, providing people with disabilities with stable employment.
Gyeongnam Bridge continues to work with companies and institutions in South Gyeongsang Province, focusing on linking suitable jobs and expanding business opportunities to create employment for people with disabilities.
Building on the agreement, the organizations plan to expand opportunities for collaboration with artists with disabilities and explore education and practical participation programs to help people with disabilities grow into content creators.
They aim to establish a cooperative system that connects content planning and production capabilities with regional employment networks, allowing people with disabilities to participate in the creative and production processes and turn that experience into sustainable jobs.
Under the agreement, Saenal-ae, which operates in Busan, and Gyeongnam Bridge, which is linked to companies and institutions in South Gyeongsang Province, agreed to actively use each region's employment infrastructure for people with disabilities. WESTO will draw on its expertise in planning and production to support an environment where creators with disabilities can participate directly in the production process and develop their skills.
WESTO is a video and animation company that has participated in the production of leading Korean animated works, including Pororo Season 7, Catch! Teenieping Season 2, Bread Barbershop Season 3 and Pinkfong Wonderstar. It has a diverse portfolio of international and theatrical content, including Warner Bros.'s Watchmen, Ladybug and Dotty theatrical film, as well as CGV theater etiquette videos and character development for NH NongHyup. More recently, it was selected as a production support project operator for the main animation of Hit Racer.
