[Financial News] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will openly recruit 250 fixed-term workers in the compensation field.
On the 2nd, LH announced that it would carry out large-scale recruitment of fixed-term compensation workers to accelerate housing supply in the Capital Metropolitan Area.
Considering professional expertise and job difficulty, the recruitment will be divided into compensation specialist positions (130 workers) and general compensation positions (120 workers).
Recruitment will proceed in phases, taking into account work schedules at each project site. A notice for 150 positions will be posted first today, followed by an additional notice for 100 positions in December.
Those hired for general compensation positions will handle on-site tasks such as organizing compensation-related documents, conducting field surveys and supporting consultations with residents. Applicants can apply without separate experience or qualification requirements. Compensation specialists will be responsible for reviewing and verifying basic survey reports, consulting with and responding to compensation-related complaints, and reviewing specialized areas. Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements: be a licensed appraiser, hold a certified private qualification related to compensation, or have at least five years of practical experience at a compensation specialist institution.
To prevent conflicts of interest, LH decided to exclude applicants if they, their spouses, or their lineal ascendants or descendants own real estate within a project district. Former LH executives and employees, among others, will also be excluded. The recruitment will provide broad opportunities for career-interrupted women and young people preparing for employment. Given the unstable employment conditions, wages will be higher than those for regular employees.
The first recruitment notice will be posted on the LH website today. It will include details on recruitment regions, the number of positions by job category, eligibility requirements and the selection process. Dedicated recruitment counseling hotlines will also be available for each region.
An LH official said, "This recruitment focuses on securing the personnel needed at compensation sites in a timely manner and establishing working conditions suited to the duties and level of expertise required." The official added, "We encourage many people with experience and expertise in compensation, as well as those interested in on-site practical work, to apply."
