'Ulju Odyssey' to Resume After Four Years; Spectacular Silver Grass Display at Ganwoljae Pass Anticipated

【Financial News, Ulsan = Reporter Choi Soo-sang】 The 2026 Ulju Odyssey, hosted by the Ulju Cultural Foundation, will be held on the 3rd, which falls on a weekend, at Ganwoljae Pass in the Yeongnam Alps, a popular autumn attraction in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju County, Ulsan.
Celebrating its 16th edition this year, Ulju Odyssey is a signature mountaintop concert in Ulju County, where visitors can enjoy music and scenery against the backdrop of the beautiful silver grass fields at Ganwoljae Pass, about 900 meters above sea level.
This year's lineup includes popera tenor Lim Hyung-joo, vocalist Jung-in, known for her distinctive voice, Choi Jae Myeong, who works in trot and various other genres rooted in traditional Korean music, and indie band LUNCH BAND, which is loved for its unique music.
The Ulju Cultural Foundation said the event, which had not been held since 2022 due to worsening weather and other factors, will return after a four-year hiatus. It also called for strong interest from mountaineering enthusiasts and Ulsan residents.
