[Financial News] The Korea Financial Talent Development Institute is operating 'Aha! Money Club' to help early-career workers manage their paychecks and develop sound financial habits. On the 2nd, the Korea Financial Talent Development Institute said that Aha! Money Club, promoted by the Credit Card Social Contribution Foundation and operated under contract by the institute, held an induction ceremony at FKI Tower in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, on the 19th of last month and began its eight-week program.
Twenty-five of the participants selected from five regions across the country—Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, the Chungcheong region, Honam, and the Yeongnam region—attended the induction ceremony. They will learn about paycheck management, spending and saving, credit management, financial fraud prevention, and youth policy finance. They will also complete practical missions, such as preparing monthly budgets and establishing savings plans. Through expert feedback and offline team meetings, they will review and improve their personal financial practices.
An official from the Korea Financial Talent Development Institute said, "The early-career stage is an important period for managing one's first paycheck, forming spending and saving habits, and beginning one's credit life. Establishing sound financial habits during this period can serve as an important foundation for long-term financial well-being."
The official continued, "Aha! Money Club aims not merely to teach finance, but to help participants apply what they learn directly to their spending, saving, and credit practices, leading to actual changes in their financial behavior. We will support participants from the five regions across the country so that they can build healthy financial lives by communicating with one another and sharing their experiences."
