South Korean tennis concluded the tournament with one silver medal. Following Kwon Soon-woo and Hong Seong-chan's bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Games, this marked South Korea's second consecutive men's doubles medal.
South Korea entered the tournament aiming to win as many as four gold medals. However, Kwon Soon-woo withdrew in the third round of the men's singles event because of a left knee injury, while all the other players were eliminated, dealing the team a setback.
South Korea's most recent Asian Games gold medal in tennis came in the men's doubles event at the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, won by the Yongkyu Lim-Jeong Hyun team.
