'October 10 Is Pregnant Women's Day'... Suncheon City Holds Celebration Event

【Financial News, Jeonnam—Reporter Hwang Tae-jong】Suncheon City is holding a celebration event to mark Pregnant Women's Day (October 10 every year).
The event is intended to share warm support with pregnant women and their babies and foster an atmosphere of celebration for pregnancy and childbirth.
Suncheon City Mayor Son Hun-mo said, "As we mark Pregnant Women's Day, I extend my congratulations and support to expectant mothers and their families," adding, "Suncheon City will be a strong source of support for healthy childbirth and happy parenting."
According to Suncheon City, the event is part of a public contest project under the city's Hometown Love Donation Program and will run through October 10.
Any pregnant woman registered in Suncheon City this year can easily participate. To apply, access Naver Form or scan the QR code on the card news, then write 'a message of support for me (a pregnant woman) and my baby.'
Suncheon City plans to select 500 participants by lottery and send the selected participants pregnancy-and-childbirth congratulatory kits by courier on a rolling basis starting October 14.
