[Financial News]  CHA Medical & Bio Group is moving to secure R&D talent in future growth areas, including longevity (healthspan extension) and infertility and reproductive medicine. The group aims to strengthen its pool of bio talent linking research, clinical work and business by expanding recruitment beyond entry-level hires to include early-career professionals.
According to CHA Medical & Bio Group on the 2nd, the organization will conduct open recruitment for 2026 entry-level and junior employees across three divisions: medical, research and corporate.
The corporate division will include CHA Biotech, CMG Pharmaceutical, CHA Meditech and the Corporate Headquarters. The medical division will recruit talent for CHA Bundang Medical Center, Gumi CHA Hospital and the Foundation Headquarters, while the research division will select candidates for the Longevity Center, Research Support Headquarters and Bundang CHA Research Department, among others.
A notable aspect is the direct link between recruitment and the group's core research fields. The initiative focuses on securing talent in longevity and infertility and reproductive medicine to strengthen its mid- to long-term R&D competitiveness.
The group will also conduct a junior track for early-career professionals with one to three years of experience. By separately selecting employees with practical experience who fall between entry-level and experienced hires, the program targets both immediate placement in the field and the development of specialized talent.
Candidates will be selected through document screening and a one-day interview. Applications will be accepted through the CHA Medical & Bio Group recruitment website through the 15th.
CHA Medical & Bio Group currently operates a global network of 96 institutions in seven countries. It plans to leverage its research, clinical and commercialization infrastructure in its efforts to attract talent.
The group is also expanding programs to develop specialized talent. It currently operates an R&D doctoral program tailored to research areas by job function, as well as the CHA-Bio MBA, which combines business administration education with bio and healthcare training. Outstanding employees are also offered opportunities such as overseas training and early promotion.
Meanwhile, the bio industry assessed that the focus of competition among bio companies is expanding from securing pipelines to securing specialized talent capable of connecting research, clinical development and commercialization. As a result, the importance of early-career R&D professionals is also growing.
