[Financial News] Busan Bank said on Oct. 2 that BNK Busan Bank Gallery, located in Sinchang-dong, will present a series of solo exhibitions featuring diverse perspectives and artistic visions this October.
First, Choi Seok-bong's solo exhibition, 'Busan Love Song III,' will run through Oct. 7. Using finely rendered ink lines and subtle coloring, the exhibition captures familiar Busan landscapes, including modern-era buildings, the port and downtown neighborhoods. Through the artist's distinctive perspective, it explores the city's history and traces of life, giving visitors an opportunity to rediscover the Busan preserved in their memories.
From Oct. 8 to 19, Son Dae-gwang's solo exhibition, 'The Rhythm of Time Remaining,' will follow. Set in a ballroom dance studio, the artist's documentary photographs portray the daily lives and gestures of older adults. The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on later life by showing people forming new relationships and finding their rhythm in life even after retirement.
From Oct. 20 to 27, Kwon Hyeon-hui's solo exhibition, 'The Memory of Mountains, the Sound of Seasons,' will be presented. The works depict nature's grandeur and the welcoming landscapes of rural villages through distinctive colors and textures. They convey the warm, lyrical sensibility expressed by the seasons and nature.
Baik SungHeum's solo exhibition will run from Oct. 28 through Nov. 4. Drawing on impressionism and images of light explored through visits to sites in Europe, the artist presents works in which light, color and form converge. Visitors can view delicate works that go beyond realistic landscapes to express inner worlds where memories and emotions reside.
A Busan Bank official said, "To mark the fall season, we have prepared exhibitions covering diverse themes, from Busan landscapes and later life to nature and light. We hope BNK Busan Bank Gallery will become a venue where local artists can present their work and a space where citizens can encounter culture and the arts close to home."
