The program is designed for customers who have difficulty visiting service centers because of long driving hours and busy schedules. The company will visit operating sites directly to inspect vehicles at convenient locations, such as ports, My Truck Houses and highway rest areas.
The schedule is as follows: Oct. 13 in Incheon at the truck parking lot in Aam Logistics Complex 2; Oct. 14 in Uiwang, Gyeonggi Province, at the Uiwang ICD truck public parking lot; Oct. 15 in Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang Province, at the Yangpyeong-bound Mungyeong Service Area; Oct. 20 in Gwangyang at Gwangyang Hwanggeum My Truck House; Oct. 21 in Busan at Busan Yongdang My Truck House; and Oct. 22 in Ulsan at Ulsan My Truck House. Customers can receive inspections either by registering in advance or by visiting the event sites on the day.
The service is available to all MAN customers regardless of vehicle model. Inspections cover 20 items, including detailed diagnostics using the MAN-specific diagnostic device 'MAN-cats,' tire pressure checks, underbody inspections and battery checks in preparation for winter. Technicians from official service centers and the company's headquarters technical team will conduct the inspections together, with technical consultations provided if needed.
The new MAN TGX 540 6x2 tractor, with a maximum output of 540 horsepower, will be displayed at the event sites. Both customers who make reservations in advance and walk-in visitors will receive souvenirs.
MAN Service Day was first launched in 2025, making this the fourth edition overall. According to the company, more than 1,000 people participated last year, and the event was also held earlier this year.
Peter Andersson, president of MAN Truck & Bus Korea, said, "For commercial vehicle customers, keeping their vehicles reliably operational is directly linked to business continuity. It is therefore very important not only to respond after problems occur, but also to inspect and manage vehicle condition in advance. We will continue to strengthen our customer-focused service competitiveness."
