[Financial News] TVING is partnering with AWS to review its overall cloud security infrastructure and enhance its security framework. The company plans to strengthen security measures ranging from account and access management to threat detection and incident response, thereby improving service stability and the protection of customer information.
TVING announced on the 2nd that it had conducted AWS's cloud security assessment and improvement program, SIP.
SIP is a program that assesses security levels based on an organization's actual cloud environment and establishes a tailored improvement roadmap. It identifies areas for improvement based on the security controls of the Center for Internet Security (CIS), the cybersecurity framework of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and AWS security best practices.
Based on the assessment results, TVING will strengthen its cloud security framework around five core principles: identity and access management (IAM), detection capabilities, infrastructure protection, data protection, and incident response and automation.
Specifically, it will pursue four key initiatives: reviewing the cloud environment against domestic and international security standards; managing externally exposed assets and excessive access privileges; establishing integrated governance for multiple AWS accounts; and implementing real-time threat detection and automated response.
In particular, TVING will use AWS Organizations, which centrally manages multiple AWS accounts, to standardize security policies and controls. The company plans to improve operational efficiency by managing security elements distributed across individual accounts according to the same standards.
Rather than limiting its efforts to a one-time assessment, TVING plans to continuously implement improvements through workshops, expert sessions, and regular follow-up reviews.
A TVING representative said, "We will create an environment where customers can use our services with confidence through regular assessments and continuous improvement."
