[Financial News] KFA provided living expenses for children from vulnerable families.
According to KFA on the 2nd, the association donated 70 million won raised through the 2026 Association Chairman’s Cup Charity Golf Tournament, held on the 30th of last month at Sangnok CC in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, to ChildFund Korea, a child welfare organization.
The donation was a follow-up to a social contribution agreement signed by KFA and ChildFund Korea in May. The funds will be used to cover living expenses for children from vulnerable families nationwide.
The 240 KFA members who participated in the tournament set aside part of their entry fees as donations, while several member companies contributed additional sponsorship funds.
Na Myung-seok, president of KFA, said, "It is meaningful to carry out our first charitable effort for children from vulnerable families together with our member companies after signing a social contribution agreement with ChildFund Korea," and added, "We will continue various social contribution activities so that we can fulfill our social responsibilities."
