According to Busan City on the 2nd, Busan Mayor Chun Jae-soo and Chung Mong-yeol, owner of Busan KCC Egis, will also attend the home opener to cheer on KCC.

KCC finished sixth last season and barely made the playoffs. In a remarkable run, however, the team defeated Wonju DB Promy, Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters and Goyang Sono Skygunners in succession to claim the championship. As the defending champion, KCC earned the honor of hosting the first game of the Korean Basketball League (KBL) season at home.
To build excitement for the opener, the club has organized a pregame event with fans starting at 1 p.m. The program will begin with an opening video highlighting Busan KCC Egis' championship triumph and the team's performances last season. A cheerleading team's stage performance and a special guest singer's concert will follow, raising the energy inside the arena.
The official ceremony will begin with the two teams taking the court, followed by opening remarks from KCC general manager Choi Hyung-gil and a declaration of the season's opening by KBL Commissioner Lee Soo-kwang. Mayor Chun Jae-soo will then deliver congratulatory remarks to officially launch the regular season.
Starting with the opener, Busan KCC Egis will embark on a seven-month campaign running through April next year. The team will play a total of 62 games at home and on the road.
Tickets for the opener can be purchased through the official KBL website and dedicated mobile app. They will also be available at the box office on game day.
Mayor Chun shared a message of support, saying, "Building on the excitement of last season's championship, I hope the team will once again bring citizens great joy and energy by racing around the court with outstanding performances."
