The World Airline Awards select airlines in various categories based on passengers’ travel experiences and satisfaction worldwide. This year’s survey was conducted from September last year through August this year. Passengers evaluated their overall air travel experience, including cabin service, airport experiences, onboard facilities, and value for money.
The World’s Most Improved Airline category, in which TRINITY AIR WAYS was recognized, is particularly significant. It selects airlines that have demonstrated notable improvements in service quality by considering changes in the global rankings and advances across multiple evaluation categories.
TRINITY AIR WAYS, an affiliate of SONO TRINITY GROUP, began operating under its new name on September 10. It has since been putting into action a strategy to move beyond the LCC model and become a Selective Service Carrier (SSC). The airline plans to offer different services depending on route characteristics and passengers’ travel purposes.
As part of that effort, it operates premium check-in counters at Incheon International Airport and is expanding customer services, including revamping in-flight meals on medium- and long-haul routes departing from Incheon. The airline plans to continuously improve service quality based on customer feedback and its operational experience.
By the end of the year, it also plans to add the next-generation Airbus A330-900neo and Boeing 737-8 MAX to its fleet, pursuing fleet modernization and stronger operational competitiveness across its routes.
A TRINITY AIR WAYS representative said, "It is meaningful to be selected in various award categories based on customer evaluations," and added, "We will continue to prioritize safe operations, listen closely to our customers, and work to provide an even more satisfying travel experience."
