Isaac Toast Unveils Baemin-Exclusive Menu as Pickup Rebranding Gains Momentum

[Financial News] Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok (Baemin), is partnering with Isaac Toast to launch a pickup-exclusive menu. The move is seen as an effort to promote pickup, allowing customers to collect their food in person without a delivery fee while reducing delivery-cost burdens for restaurant owners.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, Isaac Toast's relaunched 'Nostalgic Vegetable Toast Combo' consists of nostalgic vegetable toast and an iced Americano.
Baemin will distribute 1,000-won discount coupons on a first-come, first-served basis every day from 7 a.m. through the 30th. With the coupon, customers can purchase the Vegetable Toast Combo for 4,900 won.
Baemin rebranded its existing takeout service as Pickup in April last year and has continued to enhance related benefits and features. In August, it collaborated with 60 Giye Chicken and Stella Tteokbokki to launch 'Value Fried Chicken' and 'Value-for-Money Tteokbokki, Fried Snacks and Sundae Set,' available only through Pickup. On September 29, it also added a feature that displays stores customers have saved directly on the Pickup map. This allows customers to find their favorite eateries directly on the map.
Pickup use has also continued to grow. In the cafe category, which sees the highest volume of pickup orders, order volume in September rose 27.2% from the same month a year earlier.
