[Financial News] Dongwon F&B has embarked on establishing an AI-based shopping system to enhance customer convenience.
On the 2nd, Dongwon F&B said that its food-focused online mall, Dongwon Mall, would introduce a generative AI-powered 'AI Shopping Assistant.'
Dongwon Mall's AI Shopping Assistant is a conversational AI service that understands the intent behind a customer's request when it is entered in natural, everyday language, recommends products, and provides essential purchasing information, including product details, ordering, delivery, and coupons.
Customers can use everyday language to find the products and shopping information they want without entering predetermined search terms.
For example, if a customer asks, "Please check my cart, calculate how much more I need to spend to qualify for free shipping, and recommend products I can purchase along with them," the AI analyzes the cart items and shipping conditions together before suggesting suitable products.
Dongwon Mall has first applied its 'AI Shortcut Service' to its mobile website and app, allowing customers to use the AI Shopping Assistant directly from the shopping screen without opening a separate chat window. The service is available in the search tab, product detail pages, and the Dongwon, GNC, and The Banchan& specialty sections.
A Dongwon F&B official said, "We will continue to provide customers with a convenient and personalized shopping experience based on Dongwon Mall's products and shopping data."
