[Financial News] Shinsegae Duty Free is expanding its VIP benefits to cover the entire travel experience by adding pet care services, following airport transfer support.
According to industry sources on the 1st, Shinsegae Duty Free has partnered with the pet care brand 'YELED' to offer dog hotel benefits to domestic members who purchase above a certain amount throughout this month. Customers using the hotel will also receive a one-day trial pass for a dog daycare.
This partnership is characterized by linking duty-free shopping benefits with services needed during travel. Starting with this promotion, Shinsegae Duty Free plans to expand the introduction of pet care services as an official VIP benefit in the future.
YELED operates 24 branches nationwide and provides dog care services such as dog hotels and kindergartens.
Shinsegae Duty Free has recently been expanding its VIP services from a shopping focus to travel convenience services. Last July, it launched a premium airport mobility service connecting the homes of S.VIP and VIP customers with Incheon International Airport and Gimpo International Airport. The service is currently being enhanced based on customer feedback.
Experiential events linked to the flagship shopping event 'New Duty-Free Sale' are also being operated. Passes for airport mobility services will be provided through a lottery among customers who have completed product delivery after purchasing items exceeding a certain amount.
