[Jakarta, Indonesia—Aulia Maulida Hamdani, Correspondent] Korea Investment Management Indonesia (KIM Indonesia) won the one-year mixed fund category at the 'Investment Management Awards 2026.'
According to local media on the 1st, KIM Indonesia was named the winner in the one-year mixed fund category at the 'Investortrust-Infovesta Investment Management Awards 2026,' held the previous day at Glasshouse Habitat at Oakwood Suites Jakarta.
Amelia Cintama, head of sales and marketing at KIM Indonesia, said, "There have been many changes in market conditions this year, but we were able to live up to our customers' trust." She added, "The award is the result of our customers' trust."
A total of 42 Indonesian asset management firms received awards across 70 categories at the ceremony. Primus Dorimulu, CEO of Investortrust, described the event as an opportunity to highlight the achievements of Indonesia's investment management industry.
KIM Indonesia aims to increase its total assets under management by at least 30% this year. It plans to expand its AUM mainly through bond and money market funds, while using new products differentiated from its existing offerings as growth drivers.
One of its flagship products, KIM Bond Fund Plus, saw its AUM increase approximately sevenfold from 724 billion rupiah at launch in February 2024, equivalent to approximately KRW 54.9 billion, to 5.6 trillion rupiah, or approximately KRW 424.6 billion, at the end of last year.
KIM Indonesia plans to launch three to four new products sequentially starting in the second quarter of this year. Earlier, on the 22nd of last month, it expanded its product lineup by listing KIM Gold ETF Shariah, an Islamic financial product based on gold, on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The product invests at least 95% of its net asset value in gold-related assets and was designed to allow indirect investment in gold through the stock exchange while complying with Shariah principles.
