"Enter Your English Name and Get a Hangul Seal in Seconds"... VISANG Education Creates Digital Hangul Seals for Foreigners

[Financial News]  VISANG Education has launched a Hangul cultural experience event for Korean-language learners worldwide to mark the 100th anniversary of Hangul Day's designation.
According to VISANG Education on the 1st, its Korean-language learning platform masterTOPIK is hosting a "Create Your Hangul Name and Seal" event, allowing learners around the world to create their own Hangul names and seals. Anyone can participate, including foreigners living in South Korea and learners studying Korean overseas.
To participate, users enter their names in English and receive recommendations for suitable Hangul names. They can then select consonants from their names and a preferred pattern to design their own Hangul seals. After stamping the completed seal on a digital Hangul passport issued through the event, participants can save it as an image file and use it as personal digital content.
Every participant will immediately receive a two-week pass for unlimited access to all masterTOPIK courses, along with a digital Hangul passport. In addition, 10 participants will be selected by lottery to have the Hangul seals they created online made into physical seals and delivered to them. The event will continue for approximately four weeks, through the 25th.
The event is significant not merely as a Hangul Day celebration, but also because it uses an edtech platform to expand the global Korean-language learning community and provide an opportunity to experience Korean culture.
Oh Hyeong-sik, head of VISANG Education’s Global Company, said, "We organized this event to mark the 100th anniversary of Hangul Day's designation and give Korean-language learners around the world a chance to express their names in Hangul and experience Korean culture in a familiar way." He added, "We will continue introducing diverse content and services through masterTOPIK so that learners worldwide can study Korean easily and enjoyably."
