[Financial News] Daekyo announced on October 1 that it will hold a live online special lecture on October 16 for candidates preparing for the second-stage interview of the Test of Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language (TOTKA). The lecture is designed to improve the practical response skills of candidates preparing for the second-stage interview exam on November 7, as well as prospective candidates preparing for future exams.
As the spread of global K-culture has significantly increased demand for Korean-language education, interest in obtaining professional Korean language teacher qualifications has also grown. In response to these market changes, Daekyo is strengthening its specialized language education content, covering everything from qualification preparation to practical skills development.
The 90-minute special lecture will be conducted live and will focus on key information directly related to passing the exam, including an analysis of interview evaluation criteria and past-question types, answer-structuring strategies, and a practical checklist. Because candidates are evaluated comprehensively on their ability to respond to questions and the logic of their answers, the lecture will help them minimize point deductions and organize their responses systematically. Participants will also receive one year of replay access for review before the exam.
Applications for the special lecture can be submitted through the official Daekyo Wujulearn website by October 14. Those who apply for the written-test preparation lecture as well will receive a package discount.
A Daekyo official said, "As demand for Korean-language education continues to expand, it has become increasingly important to ensure that prospective teachers develop practical and professional skills. Going forward, Daekyo will continue expanding customized professional education programs tailored to each stage of Korean language teachers' development, drawing on its expertise in language education."
Meanwhile, Daekyo operates a range of specialized education programs through its platform, Daekyo Wujulearn, including TOTKA special lectures, Korean language teacher training courses, and instructor training courses for the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK).
