[Financial News] The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 1st that it will hold an on-site corporate support program briefing with Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) at the Chamber’s office on the afternoon of the 7th.
The briefing was organized to support local companies struggling with high interest rates and a prolonged economic slowdown. Major support programs, including policy finance and business restructuring initiatives, will be introduced in one place, while one-on-one consultations will provide guidance tailored to each company’s circumstances.
The event will bring together the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, KAMCO, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund (KODIT), the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), the Comprehensive Business Restructuring Support Center, and other institutions involved in policy finance and corporate support. They will introduce support programs based on companies’ management situations and growth stages and provide practical information on application requirements and procedures.
The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Southeastern Region Business Restructuring On-site Support Center will explain the business restructuring approval system and ways to use the related incentives, which support companies seeking to improve their competitiveness and enter new businesses. It will also present successful approved cases in which manufacturing-centered companies in the Southeastern Region transitioned to high-value-added industries such as future vehicles, nuclear power, and eco-friendly energy, or improved their business fundamentals by incorporating AI and digital technologies.
At the one-on-one consultation booths operating alongside the briefing, the center’s staff will meet individually with companies considering business restructuring. Companies can receive guidance not only on approval procedures and preparations but also on support benefits applicable to their respective business plans.
