Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) Launches Limited-Edition Card-Shaped Gold Honoring Gen.G Esports, 2026 LCK Champions

[Financial News] The championship glory of Gen.G Esports, which rose to the top of South Korea's premier League of Legends (LoL) professional league, will now be available to fans in pure-gold form.
 KOMSCO announced that it would officially launch a card-shaped gold product commemorating the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) championship and begin accepting reservations on the 1st.
 The commemorative card-shaped gold product was designed to celebrate the achievements of the Gen.G Esports roster, which displayed outstanding skill in winning the 2026 LCK championship: 'Kiin' Kim Gi-in, 'Canyon' Kim Geon-bu, 'Chovy' Jung Ji-hoon, 'Ruler' Park Jae-hyuk and 'Duro' Joo Min-kyu. Made in a card format from 0.5 grams of pure gold (Au 999), the product features each player's nickname and official image in high resolution, allowing fans to preserve and admire the moment of victory.
 To maximize its scarcity, production will be strictly limited to 200 pieces per player, or 1,000 in total. In particular, 10% of the total quantity will randomly include players' handwritten signatures incorporating holographic technology, raising expectations of a strong response from fans and collectors. The product will be sold exclusively through KOMSCO's official online store, and KOMSCO plans to donate part of the proceeds to society to support the development of emerging esports talent and promote a healthy gaming culture, or game literacy.
 Meanwhile, Gen.G Esports has once again demonstrated world-class skill by winning the 2026 LCK championship. As the team is being touted as a strong contender for the upcoming international tournament, the limited-edition gold product is expected to continue drawing attention.
