[Financial News] MUSINSA will open the fifth Japanese store of Matin Kim, a fashion brand of HAGOHAUS that MUSINSA officially distributes in Japan, in Sapporo.
MUSINSA said on the 1st that Matin Kim will open a new store on the 23rd at Sapporo PARCO, a shopping mall in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
MUSINSA has expanded Matin Kim stores across major Japanese cities, including Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, since opening its first store in Tokyo last year. The four stores currently in operation attracted approximately 300,000 visitors cumulatively from January through September this year. With the new Sapporo location, MUSINSA will extend its offline business beyond Japan's three major metropolitan areas to Hokkaido.
Sapporo PARCO, where the store will open, is a shopping mall located in Sapporo's downtown Odori shopping district. Matin Kim has organized the store around its fall and winter (FW) collection and signature products to reflect Hokkaido's long winter season. Products being released early at the Sapporo store will also be showcased.
A MUSINSA representative said, "We are developing specific distribution strategies suited to each region based on customer responses and operational experience accumulated in major cities." The representative added, "We will build a stable business foundation so that K-fashion brands can continue to grow across Japan."
