NCsoft's 'AION 2' Goes Global, Ranks No. 1 in Overseas Steam Sales

[Financial News] NCsoft's massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'AION 2' has entered global early access. It ranked No. 1 in global Steam sales on its first day of early access, while the number of pre-release wishlist registrations surpassed 1.3 million.
NCsoft announced on the 1st that it had launched global early access for AION 2 on the 30th of last month local time. Users who purchase the 'Founder's Pack' can play the game before its official release. The full service will begin on October 5.
The global service will be available through the PC gaming platform Steam and NCsoft's own platform, PURPLE. Servers will operate in four regions—North America, South America, Europe, and Asia Japan—and the game will support eight languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish.
On the 30th of last month, the first day of early access, AION 2 ranked No. 1 on Steam's global 'Top Popular Games' chart by revenue. It also ranked first in sales in 12 countries, including the United States, France, Germany, Spain, and Brazil. Before its release, the number of Steam wishlist registrations surpassed 1.3 million.
To mark the start of early access, NCsoft released the AION 2 launch trailer. The video highlights key features, including flight, aerial combat, the battle between the celestial and demonic factions, and player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) content.
