LH to Offer 309 Newlywed Hope Town Units in Incheon Gyeyang in October

[Financial News]  Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) will supply 309 public-sale housing units in the Newlywed Hope Town at Incheon Gyeyang A17 Block in October. 
According to LH on the 30th, A17 Block will comprise 463 units in total. It will consist of 309 public-sale housing units and 154 Happy Housing units, with 176 units available for general supply after excluding the units offered through preliminary subscriptions. Move-ins are scheduled for November 2029.
All units are designed with an exclusive area of 55 square meters. The average supply price is approximately KRW 504 million per household.
The complex will include community facilities for newlywed couples and their children, including a daycare center, indoor playground, and toy bank. The resale restriction period is three years, and there is no mandatory owner-occupancy requirement.
Of the total supply, 133 units will be allocated to winners of the preliminary subscription held in February 2022. The competition rate for that preliminary subscription was 6 to 1. The remaining 176 units will be offered through general supply.
The exclusive long-term mortgage for Newlywed Hope Town will also be mandatory. The loan will carry a fixed annual interest rate of 1.3%, which LH expects will ease newlywed couples' financing burden.
The complex is located near the Capital Region First Ring Expressway and Gyeongin Expressway, and residents will be able to use Bakchon Station on Incheon Subway Line 1. To the north, it borders 'Gyeyang Byeori,' a group of five linear parks in Incheon Gyeyang District.
Sites for kindergartens and elementary, middle, and high schools are planned nearby. A school route will be created so students can reach their schools through the park without crossing a road.
Subscription applications for preliminary-subscription winners will be accepted first on October 19-20. Applications for general supply will be accepted on October 26-27, followed by the announcement of winners in November and contract signing in February 2027.
The housing exhibition center will be located at 64-5 Ojeong-dong, Ojeong-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province. Preliminary-subscription winners may visit starting October 11, while applicants for the general subscription may visit starting October 13.
